[Hanekoma's grinning as casually as ever, but he looks a little flushed, and are those dark circles under his eyes?

That's definitely a drippy-looking nose. Maybe he shouldn't have been running around in short sleeves and sandals after all.]

Heyyyy! Had fun with your party?

I was just wonderin' if anybody out there's got tea leaves they're willin' ta trade. I prefer green, but I'll take black or herbal if that's what you've got.

[Thoughtful.] I can trade ya fresh eggs, meat, or --

[He turns the camera to display a half-finished tempera mural in black and white covering one wall of his room -- it's a boldly outlined forest of graffiti-style skyscrapers seen from above, dwindling down to tiny streets under a brilliant sky.] --we can work out a trade for some wall art.

[He pauses to stifle a hacking cough.] Speak up quick, just in case goin' out gets tricky again in a day or two!

Seems like I'm gettin' plenty of people who have tea, so I'm good on that.

[Thoughtful pause.] So, whaddya want in exchange for the sweater, Sora?

-- Spiked it with alcohol.

Alright cool. You live with Josh right?

[He leans back in his bed and stares at the wall across from him.] Uh... Let me have a cup of tea with you?

I suppose they thought that would be fun, huh?

[Sora knows where Joshua lives? His eyebrows flick briefly upward.] Sure do. An' you're welcome to share some tea with me, kiddo.

That's the usual plan - plus, gets them drunk too.

[They're friends didn't you know?] Awesome! Do you want me to bring the sweater over now?

Huh. Never tried that before. Never really saw it either.
[He shrugs.]
If that's what they want to do I guess.

Sure, why not? I've got the tea; I'll just put some water on to boil.

['Friends' is one thing, friends who Joshua'll give the location of his house to... well, let's say Sanae's impressed.]

As for the alcohol, well, some people like that kinda thing. I'd recommend stayin' away from any funny-smellin' punch if you don't wanna try it yourself.

Alright! I'll be there soon, okay?

[He starts bundling up.]

I think I can wait a little while for that. Doesn't look like it leaves you as good as it makes you feel.

I'll be in the front room. Just knock. [He grins.]

An' yeah, the next morning's never worth the fun.

Will do! I'll be there in a flash.

Is there any way to avoid the morning after?

[And he's heading out the door now. And decides to run because who needs to walk? Not him.]

Why? Plannin' ta drink? [Chuckling -- far be it from him to enforce the legal drinking age. Really, around here, who cares?] Lots a water, don't have too much, but nothin'll get rid of it entirely.

It might come up in the future. Maybe. Gotta play it safe, right?

[And now he's knocking on the door, hopping from one foot to the other.]

[Hanekoma pulls the door open a few seconds later, shaking his head.] Little chilly out there ta be standin' around, isn't it?

Careful, you'll catch somethin' too. C'mon in.

Uh huh. [He comes inside and shakes off, making sure not to track anything into the house.]

I've got a pretty good immune system!

[He holds out the sweater. It's just plain black with a couple of patches on it from where he fixed up the holes.]

Taa daa! Sweater for Sanae!

[Taking it with a grin.] Thanks, Sora. I appreciate it. I've got the water boilin' -- what kind of tea do ya like? Looks like we've got a couple options. Black, green, somethin' with herbs in it...

[He leads the way into the kitchen, where he's already got a couple mugs out on the counter.]

Yeah no problem! [All smiles here.] I'll try the ones with the herbs in it, please.

[Sora follows, humming a little. He's been in a wonderful mood lately. Hopefully it would rub off on Sanae even though he was sick.]

No guarantees on taste. [He chuckles, picking one of the sachets out and dropping it into the blue cup. The other is green with a chipped rim; he drops a green tea bag in and tops them both off with boiling water.]

Here ya go - careful, it's hot. [Hanekoma holds the blue cup out to Sora, noting that hum.] You're all smiles today, aren't ya?

I wouldn't blame you anyway.[He accepts the mug with a nod and just holds it between his hands, enjoying the warmth.]

For some reason I'm in a really good mood! Not that I'm complaining or anything!

[Might have something to do with the fact that he had been blatantly ignoring the fact that he felt pretty rejected at the moment. Better happy than sad.]

[He makes a thoughtful noise and blows over the surface of his tea before taking a careful sip. Yeah, bagged green tea's still pretty awful. Needs a couple more seconds for what flavor it's got, though.]

Nothin' to complain about in a good mood, is there?

So, Sora, what've you been up to outside a not gettin' drunk at the dance?

[Better than nothing. Not that Sora was a huge fan of tea anyway. He just wanted to come over and spend some time with Sanae, make sure he was doing alright.]

Definitely not! I just wish I could share it with some of the people here. I've never seen so many grumpy people in one place.

[Grin!]

I got to explore some of the mall with my friend Hope and I've been trying to rearrange my room to make it look cool and I'm kinda teaching myself how to patch up my own clothes!

Some people just don't know when ta relax and enjoy the moment. [Shrugging philosophically, and setting his tea down to avoid spilling it a second before he's caught by a brief coughing fit.]

They'll figure it out eventually, huh? [He picks the mug back up, sips, and makes a face before fishing the teabag out. Bit strong. Oh well.] And learnin' ta sew isn't a bad idea around here. Shame Phones's first partner's still back home. She'd be a good one ta ask for tips.

I know right? Life doesn't always have to be so tough. [He looks a little concerned at the coughing fit but at least he isn't hacking up blood or anything.

He had pulled out his tea bag a little while back and was sipping it carefully. He woulda liked some sugar, but he isn't gonna bother Sanae about that, not when it was so scarce around here.] Yeah, I figured it would be since I run around a lot and am pretty good at wearing through my clothes...

What was her name? [Wait, what the heck was a first partner?]

Shiki Misaki. About your age, knows her way around a needle pretty well. [He grins, taking a few deep breaths of the steam from his tea to soothe the last bits of that cough away.]

Me, I can darn my socks, but that's about it. Never got inta fabric art much.

Maybe if she ever comes here I'll ask her about it. [Not that he's wishing for it or anything. This place isn't exactly that great.]

Yeah me neither, but I figured it'd be better if I tried at least mending my stuff. That way I don't have to be too much of a burden on anyone.

There's gotta be some people around here with the same kinda skills; just don't know for sure who they are. [He smiles around his cup and takes a gulp of just-cool-enough-to-drink tea.]

Been worryin' about that?

I might just have to ask around then! There are way too many people here for no one to know how to sew, ya know? [And now Sora is excited again. Because yay learning?]

Yeah, a little bit. I'm kinda used to being the one that people rely on. At least recently. Before I came here that is.

[He nods, and takes another gulp of tea to soothe away a threatening cough.]

Ya know, a lot of people seem ta think it's tougher takin' help than givin' it. I think it's all in what you're used ta doin', myself.
