You guys usually have weather like this? Nothin' but rain and sleet... it's enough to get anybody down. [He looks back at the video feed, grinning.]

That said, since the weather's keepin' me in, thought I'd bug ya all with a question or two.

First, I'm tryin' ta fix up a place to stay. This place doesn't happen to've dragged in a hardware store or somethin', does it? Anyplace I could pick up some tools? Be nice ta get my hands on a bit of paint an' plaster, too.

Second thing is I've been hearin' a lot about what happened last week, and somebody told me weird things happen every other week 'round this joint. Anybody willin' to tell me stories about what they've seen when? You never know, maybe we can figure out what's comin' if we look at what's happened before.

Appreciate it anyway. Those events that last longer... they usually the serious ones?

[It's rare, especially these days, but no - Kurapica still has the capability to smile.

It's only when the subject returns to the events that his smile fades in favor of seriousness.]

Yes. The smaller events may induce damage in and of themselves, but the more serious ones...yes, they can be longer.

But seriousness doesn't determine length - that personality switch one didn't last more than a week.

[Yeah, it's confusing, all right.]

...I know. As I sad before, the Animus's patterns are not set in stone. It's difficult to predict the exact length of any one event.

...So I've heard the Animus talk on the network every once in a while. How do they sound?

They're difficult to understand. They speech in riddles, sometimes with multiple beings at one time. To decipher what they're saying, one almost has to speak in riddles as well.

Hmmm. I'll see what talkin' to 'em gets me the next time they show up.
