You guys usually have weather like this? Nothin' but rain and sleet... it's enough to get anybody down. [He looks back at the video feed, grinning.]

That said, since the weather's keepin' me in, thought I'd bug ya all with a question or two.

First, I'm tryin' ta fix up a place to stay. This place doesn't happen to've dragged in a hardware store or somethin', does it? Anyplace I could pick up some tools? Be nice ta get my hands on a bit of paint an' plaster, too.

Second thing is I've been hearin' a lot about what happened last week, and somebody told me weird things happen every other week 'round this joint. Anybody willin' to tell me stories about what they've seen when? You never know, maybe we can figure out what's comin' if we look at what's happened before.

Least you get this week off. First week here and they went and stripped of us of even of our powers.

Yeah, right. Still not used to having to explain those bits. 'Ve no idea where Shibuya is, Tokyo... That's Japan, right? Toyohashi Tengu anywhere nearby? Got in the finals a few years back.

Yup, it's Japan. Toyohashi's down the coast a couple hours by bullet train -- never heard of the Tengu, though. I'd guess we're from different worlds.

First week, huh? That's rough. Could get somebody killed, what with the monsters everywhere.

Toyohashi Tengu's a Quidditch team, located in that place s'far as I know. Dunno what a tengu is, though.

It was rough. Seemed as if a few people were going mad back then. It lasted longer then the other ones have since I've been about.

It's a sort of crow spirit. Big nose, bad temper. [He shrugs.] Never heard of Quidditch, though... different worlds it is.

Hm. You know if that was somethin' else the spirits did to 'em, or just a side effect?

How's a crow got a spirit? [He's frowning.] It's a sport, only the best there is. Wouldn't reckon you would have, seeing as wizards like to keep separate from Muggles.

Dunno. Suppose it was probably just a side effect. Right pain for me, but I didn't feel any more mad than normal.

Nah, supernatural creature that's like a crow, not a crow ghost. [He grins, amused.] You'll hafta tell me how it works. Might not be a wizard, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good game.

Racing brooms, huh? Guess that's not somethin' you could make out of any old broom and a spell.

I've never tried it. Hermione might be able to figure out the spells and Harry and I've read enough about 'em we could maybe get some decent ones going, but s'not like we have a lot of supplies for it.
