The recent seismic activity is becoming more severe. As yet, the building in which I am residing has not suffered structural damage. This may not last. A number of other buildings in the city display signs of earthquake damage, up to and including complete collapse; if this continues, evacuation of the larger, more vulnerable buildings may become a necessity.
My evaluation of the chip obtained from Minamimoto will have to wait until a less precarious workspace can be obtained. Given the scarcity of the resource, I wish to obtain as much information as possible from this one device; conditions should therefore be optimal.
The Composer has been distracted by the arrival of his Proxy, bringing to eight the number of those involved in the Composer's Game to be taken by Discedo's scientists. Their choices are unusual: although a number of the individuals here were genuinely influential in the events of the weeks previous to my arrival in Discedo, others were simply proximate. I suspect that the scientists' method of selection is
